Vakkaru Maldives - Luxury Private Island Resort - Thulhaadhoo

The staff at vakkaru maldives are really good, always going the extra mile. Our butler, sayaa, was attentive and friendly. The restaurants offered a lovely variety, and the atmosphere was both lively and relaxing.

dinner options could be more diverse , with limited choices.

Amazing week in our overwater villa, where we loved the snorkeling experience and the stunning wine selection during dinner! The spa was a blissful escape with their relaxing massages and facials. Just a heads up, we did notice the beach could have been a bit cleaner but it didn't really take away from our time here. 🌊

every detail of this well-maintained and incredibly beautiful property was perfect. there was free wi-fi throughout the property and the service in general was terrific. parking was onsite and we didn't mind paying extra gbp 12 per day.

Stayed here for 6 nights with my children, had an extra special stay. I were offered deluxe villa complete with over water.

Loved the fine beach villa but struggled with numerous mosquitoes on the island.

It made our trip to Baa Atoll a really nice experience. Our clean and beautiful room had satellite television, climate control and an individual safe. The service was great, we had a satisfactory breakfast.

Beautiful rooms.

Interesting place for 5 nights with affable staff from Sayaa our butler who was the warmest and most helpful person you could meet to the chefs and staff working at the restaurant who go out of their way to make special food for you and make you feel at home. Great restaurant for delicious meal. The hotel of choice in Baa Atoll.

The over water villa offered amazing views and we enjoyed the close proximity to the vibrant house reef, perfect for snorkeling adventures .

Best ocean and sunset view. The entire staff was friendly and helpful, especially our butler, who ensured our family was comfortable. The food and drinks were enjoyable, although some service may have been slow at times.

Luxury overwater villa stay

The staff, particularly Azzam and Rijai, made dining enjoyable with warm hospitality and humor. Swimming with mantas was a unique highlight.

Occasionally, service during meals could be a bit slow.

The resort is in a fine location, offering an ocean oasis where we could relax and unwind. Our butler was attentive. The food was fantastic, and our favorite spots were the bamboo-style Onu and the Lagoon Bar.

For dads, it would be great if there were more activities specifically tailored for young children.

We loved the elegant bamboo restaurant with a showcase kitchen and the amazing local experiences. The ocean oasis for relaxation was fine, offering great food and activities. The house reef was a highlight, perfect for snorkeling. Can't wait to return!

The resort staff offered heartfelt hospitality. We also appreciated the excellent food across several restaurants, each meal a delight. The sea view from our over water villa was amazing.

The room did show some signs of wear that could be addressed.

I had an very nice time at Vakkaru Maldives. The overwater villa offered amazing views and a serene environment. The staff set this place apart. Azzam's warm welcome at breakfast and the humor from Rijai during lunch made dining nice. Joy took care of every little request without hesitation. The unique coffee art from Evon was a good touch. I couldn't get enough of the snorkeling. Swimming with mantas was a highlight. The food across various restaurants was really good, especially the local dishes, which never disappointed. I noticed the beach could use some attention regarding cleanliness, and occasionally, the service at meal times felt a bit slow. I expected included soft drinks with the meal plans because it would uplift the experience further.
